TSO Auditions

The Topeka Symphony is the

The following positions will be auditioned on the following dates:

August 24, 2026

• Principal Bassoon
• Second Bassoon
• Third/Contrabassoon
• Piano

August 25, 2026

• Principal Horn
• Horn 4
• Principal Trombone
• Third/Bass Trombone

All auditions will take place on the campus of Washburn University in Topeka, KS on the aforementioned dates between 5pm-10pm. We are not accepting recorded auditions at this time. Due to the limited time and number of applicants, please apply only if you are willing to accept the position.

Audition Repertoire will be uploaded by July 1, 2026. We will not post round excerpts until the day of your respective auditions.

Audition times will be assigned after the application deadline, and applicants will be notified by email. 

Applications must be complete in order to receive an audition time.
